A railway system said to be home to the largest concentration of ghosts anywhere in Britain, and when you consider the thousands of accidental deaths and suicides that have occurred here in the 160 years since it first opened, as well as the cemeteries, plague pits, and crypts disturbed during the construction of the stations, it comes as little wonder.
