Let us head to the south east of England, and in particular to a fortification that has defended the coastline for almost 1000 years. It has witnessed all manner of horrors and as a result is believed to be one of the most haunted castles in Britain. The ghost of a murdered drummer boy is still heard playing his drums on the battlements. The sights and sounds of World War 2 are heard in the secret tunnels that run beneath the castle. And I’ll tell you a terrified listener got the fright of her life following a paranormal investigation here just last year.
